Well, I definitely didn't get enough sleep last night. I was up late with fabulous folks and then woke up at 5:00 to get to the airport. Ouch. Luckily, this allowed me to completely pass out on the plane, therefore making the ride seem a lot shorter. Matt cooked me up an awesome pasta thing last night that made the rest of the United Airlines passengers jealous. No prepackaged "mini-meal" for me, thank you.
I am now back in the home of my parents, reunited with a lot of the material possessions that make me feel that I fit. Oh, things. I am surrounded by you. I am glad to have my full-size guitar back, and I'm very much looking forward to playing French horn in the near future. Probably tomorrow. I haven't played horn since before I went to The Gambia, and I'm starting to feel symptoms of withdrawal. I am also glad to have an internet connection that I don't feel that I'm intruding on. I can laze about on this computer as much as I please. I feel so luxurious. And I have so many more clothes! I was a little overwhelmed by my closet this afternoon. Good thing I'll be heading to school soon with a pared down wardrobe. And a lot fewer things in general. Really, I want to have a big yard sale or something and get rid of all the junk I don't use. Or I could just give it away. Whatever.
I'm tired. I think I'll go play guitar for a bit and then collapse into my bed.
