There was a terrible storm and you were wearing all our clothes.
Just kidding. That's a song lyric.
But there was quite a storm Saturday evening, and our internet was out until an hour ago. Eventually, we worked up the gumption to unplug the blinky closet. I'm pretty sure we fixed the internet for the entire North Crescents, if not the Crescents as a whole. So that's pretty neat.
Since the last update, we've had a potluck, gone shopping, watched Juno and a couple episodes of The L Word, eaten lots of food... all that jazz. We're ready for the Halloween celebrations. Our entire house is dressing as Peter Pan. We headed to Vintage Values yesterday to procure green things. I found a classy silk shirt. I've also decided to wear my green brocade hightops and pretend that they fit in with the outfit.
We found out that McKay's (the local grocery store) is not sex positive in the least.
TOAST folks will be showing up Wednesday. Bunches and bunches of alumni will be showing up Saturday. Matt will be showing up (hopefully) Sunday, possibly with Phil. Life is good and full of people. I am very excited.
Also, Power Vote is almost over. I am very, very excited.
I finished with interview transcriptions. That's pretty cool. I am diving into my readings, and I'm loving them so far. I haven't read anything more recent than 1975 yet, and it's fun to compare the way things are now with how they were then. Like... communes surviving off of welfare back in the 70's? Wow.
Flynn says that I should plug his blog more. So I'm plugging it. He says they got 50,000 hits yesterday.

You know, normally I would tell you that you need to put "http://" in front of a link, or else it will think you're linking to a page in your own domain. But since Flynn isn't plugging your site at all (not on the Blog Roll, not in any recent posts) I'm going to keep my mouth shut about your broken link.
Oops.
Love you. <3
