I'm back at my parents' house. Winter break has officially begun. (My last one! Oh goodness.)

I had a wonderful night last night, taking it easy before heading homeward. Best food I've had in a long time. I love my life.

Today, KT and I have dental appointments. I have an appointment on Friday to get my ankles checked out. We're trying to squeeze in all the medical care I could possibly need before my insurance runs out.

After getting our teeth poked at, my darling sister and I are going to see Milk, which has been on my to-see list since Thanksgiving. Perhaps I'll let you know how it goes.

I always have very mixed feelings about returning to this place. I like being in the DC area, but my parents' house is far from my friends and I usually get depressed if I stay here too long. I like my family, but I miss my friends eventually and I don't like suburbia at all. Driving today was an interesting experience. As I pulled off the Beltway and started to recognize the buildings around me, my heart sank. Northern Virginia. For a month. Oh boy. But really, I do like being around my family. And the break from classes is certainly appreciated. It is a puzzlement.
