This weekend, I went on a very rainy field trip to Western Maryland to look at plants. I camped in the rain, I walked around in an old growth hemlock forest, and I lip-synced passionately in the van. All in all, a pleasant weekend. Not terrifically productive, though, which means that today has basically been a headlong dive back into my hectic schedule. Yeowch. I just got out of the four hours' worth of meetings that happened in our common room. (Both meetings were righteous things that needed to happen, but still. Four hours sitting on this futon is just a bit much.)

In other news, I've started on a new book. It's got a lot to say about living consciously, and it's giving me lots of things to mull over. I like mulling.

I'm incredibly busy, but I'm feeling good. No burnout yet. (Cross your fingers.) I think that as long as I keep getting enough sleep (and as long as I don't randomly get sick) I should be fine.

(Speaking of health, I ran this morning! Hurrah!)

This is a very short post. It's so silly-- the times that I have the most to write about, I have the least time to write. How counterproductive. At least I'm writing at all, I suppose.
