It's raining. I think rainy Thursdays may become one of my favorite things.

The Power Vote campaign is continuing to chug along. We have 579 pledge cards that have been turned in and counted-- we think there may be more out there, but there's no way to tell until they find their way home. Saturday, we'll be making our presence felt at Riverfest, where we expect to gather at least a hundred or so more. Sunday, we'll be at the UMCES Run for Research, which will expose 5,000 or so people to our shenanigans. Lots of potential there.

Of course, I won't be here this weekend to help with all that. How silly. I'll be in Western Maryland looking at plants and camping out with my Ecology and Diversity of MD Plants class. Yes, I'm going on a field trip. I feel like I'm in 5th grade again, but I'm really excited about nerding out.

I went to a fantastic workshop last night about breathing and energy, among other things. Fascinating. It was, in fact, so fascinating that I bought the workshop leader's book.

I have been reassessing my decisions. I am considering making new ones, but perhaps this is itself a poor decision? Unclear.
