I'll be heading up to UMBC this weekend for a Maryland Student Climate Coaltion (MSCC) shindig. Am I excited? Only a very little. I'm pretty psyched about hanging out with Aaron and Chelsea for the whole weekend, though.

I stopped running. My ankles kept hurting, and it wasn't getting any better. I've started going to the gym instead. I am fighting my initial response, which is that gyms are lame and being outside on the track is what the cool kids do. Cool kids can have unhappy ankles, too.

We're coming up on Thanksgiving break pretty quickly here. In fact, I leave for my parents' house on Tuesday. How exciting. I'm lining up fun things to do/people to hang out with. It looks like I'm dining with Heather, Paul, and Sarah on Wednesday, which should be interesting. Thursday, obviously, is Thanksgiving proper, which will be spent with my family. I think a few of my friends are getting together for a leftovers Thanksgiving on Friday, which I'm looking forward to. I thoroughly enjoy the people in my life.

Speaking of the people in my life, a couple of us did a silly photo shoot in our kitchen last night. It was goofy and wonderful. Also, our kitchen is very small and trying to get a good angle was an endless challenge.

How unfair is it that you go up to UMBC the semester after I graduate? Oh well, see you on Thanksgiving!
