I almost feel like I have a mail-order bride coming. But she's a bike.

My birthday was on Friday, by the way. I had some friends over and made peanut noodles and we had a picnic in the park behind my house. It was lovely. We even had bug repellent so we didn't get all chewed up!
And last night some young hooligans showed up at my place and we played kickball in the very same park. It was all fun and games until Tina's toenail got bent backwards. I look forward to future games where all of the players are wearing the proper footwear. And/or games where my friends aren't in extreme pain.
I played French horn last night for the first time in a while, and then I played again this morning. My face was sore, but it felt good anyway. I always forget how much I love playing until I'm actually doing it. I should start playing guitar more, too.
And yoga this morning! I feel so personally productive. I finally used the yoga DVD that I've had for ages. I discovered that my feet sweat too much for the yoga mat and I'm better off on my carpet. Good to know. There's actually a yoga studio just down the street from me that looks like it's very affordable-- perhaps I'll give it a try sometime soon. And the building is purple! It doesn't get much better than that, right?
This weekend, some of my friends and I are going camping! We're planning to go to Shenandoah National Park. The weather is supposed to be lovely, and I'm excited. It'll be Matt's first time camping. I'll tell you all about it once it's happened.
This post had a lot of exclamation marks in it!
