I haven't found out yet where I'm doing my student teaching. I hounded the professor in charge of student teaching placement-- "it's well into January and I don't know where I'm placed yet!" She replied that I would find out where I was placed on the first day of class, just like everyone else. Sheesh. I wish my school had just told me that in the first place; I would have preferred to sit back and wait than to stress about it.

Ah, well. I'll be teaching in someone else's classroom for some amount of time between January 20th and May 7th. That's really not that long. That's, like, three months and a week or two. In fact, that's about as long as I taught in my own classroom. Nice symmetry, I guess.

In other news, I started hooping again. I feel good about it. I was hoping to take a hooping class this semester, but the class that I heard about is only offered on Thursdays, which is the one day that I'm unavailable. Bummertown. Luckily, I talked my friend Heather into giving me one-on-one lessons. She's coming over Tuesday for our first lesson. Yesss. I'm considering doing a video project about my hooping. Like, posting a video every week or every month so that I can look back at the progress I've made. I think it might be fun. Maybe I'll be an internet celebrity, yo.

Other things of note:
-I lost my wallet, which makes me feel like an idiot. It's also very inconvenient.
-Jess moved into Keegan's room, and Keegan moved into mine with me. Our room now.
-Keegan and I decided that, instead of moving our stuff into parents' basements, we'll move it into a storage unit near Twin Oaks instead. That way, we'll be mostly moved down there already and we won't be stressing out our folks as much.
