You'll be pleased to hear that I'm still playing horn regularly.

I was pleased to hear all the nice things people have been saying to me about Unicorn School. I've had three people independently tell me that they're really impressed with what I am/we are doing. It's the most exciting/best thing they've seen happen to childcare here in years and years, and evidently I'm doing a great job. Well, cool. I only hope I can keep up the good work, I guess.

We're going to four days a week next week-- I just turned in the schedule. We also have a lot more people coming in and teaching-- eek! So much to coordinate. I'm putting together a binder with our daily schedule, checklists of what to do, and articles about how to handle things so that, eventually, things will be able to happen without me there. That's the big plan. I don't want to be there five days a week when we finally get to that schedule; I want Unicorn School to be strong enough to go on without my babysitting it.

In other news, there was a fantastic party on Saturday. Some folks came down from DC, and it was lovely to see them. There were excellent DJs and even better dancers. I had a wonderful time. I shouted over the music a lot. I think I'm losing my voice now, but that's what I get for shouting on a sore throat.

It's getting colder. I'm happy to be living in the room next to the furnace. The air is crisp and lovely. I'm sure winter here will be beautiful.
