Cheerful updates:

-My yogurt turned out great. I put it in the fridge around 1:30 AM, and it was thick and lovely in the morning.
-I heard back from that group house. I'm in! I'll be moving in in September. It's the cheapest one around, walking distance to work, and full of friendly-sounding (also busy-sounding) ladies.
-I can sort of do one shoulder hooping now, after spending a couple hours messing around in the park yesterday. I would say that I can successfully duck out and back in 75% of the time. (Does that mean anything to anyone who reads this?)
-I went for a run today and it felt great. I'm thinking about signing up for an 8k or 10k in October. I'm also thinking about transitioning to barefoot-style shoes, and I'm wondering whether trying to do these things at the same time is a bad idea.
-I bottled a little less than a gallon of kombucha this evening. Hey friends in the DC area who like kombucha-- let me know if you want any. I'm gonna have to step up my kombucha drinking habits pretty seriously to keep pace with my new kombucha making habit.
