PHOTO POST!
Ryan has a smartphone, which means that he has the potential to take pictures all the time. That's the only reason there is photographic evidence of my life for the past few months. So, thanks to Ryan, here's my summer, in words and (mostly) pictures:

Arrived in Olympia. Almost immediately headed for Vancouver, BC, where we stayed with a lovely gentleman who does stained glass work. He gave stained glass pendants to Ryan and me. Here's a picture of Ryan and me, with nothing but my memory to identify it as being in Vancouver.

Back to Olympia. Did cute things like make monkey bread.

Went swimming with the family.

Had some cuddles on top of the car. You know, the usual.

Out on the Olympic Peninsula (which is where I was for several days a week), I did things like hang out with donkeys in my pajamas.

And I looked out at sunsets from this amazing VW bus Ryan is working on restoring.

I farmed while I was on the peninsula, but I took exactly zero pictures of that. Ryan worked on building a house. The slab was poured while I was there, and it was kept wet for a few days to help it cure. This clearly required pretending it was a sprinkler party.

More sprinkler partying on our dystopian lawn. Panoramic magic!

Headed down to California to see some redwoods. (And to make it to a wedding.) They're big, those redwoods.

Really big.

And Ryan makes really silly faces.

Back in Olympia, we made it to the Thurston County Fair. I went on most of the rides. Some of them more than once. This picture may have been after the hard cider tasting.

And here's Ryan and Demetrius all loaded up for Burning Man. Nice and cozy-- there's not a spare inch in there. What's really amazing is that they managed to make room for me on the ride back.
Sadly, I don't have any pictures of the wedding or Burning Man. I just assumed that everyone else would be taking pictures. They probably did, too, it's just that their pictures haven't made it to me yet. Be sure to send your love in Ryan's direction if you're feeling thankful for photos.
