The library book sale is a wonderful thing. I got 14 books and one awesome thing (to be discussed momentarily) for a grand total of $9.00.

The awesome thing was a mysterious box. What in the world? It has a latch and everything. How mysterious!

Flipping the latch and throwing back the top, I discovered that the mysterious box held at least a dozen art books, complete with full-page prints of lots and lots of paintings. I love cutting up art books and decorating with them! Perfect!

I was debating whether to purchase the box. I already had an armload of books. Going through the pile of art books, however, I discovered something I couldn't resist: a beautiful watercolor of the climbing tree down at the Point. Oh my goodness. It was just slipped in there between a couple of the books, waiting to be found.

Unfortunately, the watercolor was cut into two pieces, presumably to make it fit into the box. I want to take it home and have it framed or something. What an incredible find.

(In other news, I ran this morning to The Pipettes, and I timed myself by adding up the lengths of the songs I went through. This is, in fact, the most accurate time I've calculated yet. I've been going by the clock on my iPod for previous times, which means that "10 minutes" translates to "from 9 to 11 minutes." My time this morning was 10:24, give or take a few seconds.)
